Wiseco is here with its latest piston lineup, Race Engineered Design, or RED™ Series for short, which offers the strength and durability that modern race engines require, along with precision-machined features that provide a competitive edge. The RED™ series is the culmination of decades of experience in designing and manufacturing high-performance engine components and was specifically designed for the mid-level enthusiast seeking a piston capable of 1,000HP for their domestic engine build.

Engineered, forged, and precision machined right here in the USA from premium 2618 alloy, the RED Series piston line offers excellent strength-to-weight ratios and superior heat dissipation properties essential for high-performance engine applications.

Anti-detonation grooves, pressure seal grooves and horizontal slot pin oiling all come as standard features on the RED Series, ensuring maximum performance and long service life for your pistons. RED series pistons also incorporate a smooth radius design, allowing for enhanced heat dissipation, reduced stress concentration and hot spots, while maximizing your engines combustion efficiency.

Each RED Series piston is also engineered and designed with a dedicated strutted forging. These dedicated forgings allow for optimized, engine-specific designs to maximize strength-to-weight characteristics. The addition of Wiseco’s ArmorGlide skirt coating to each piston further enhances performance by reducing operating friction and noise while minimizing skirt and cylinder wear.
